We get it, you just want a quick and easy answer as to how much it is to use a paper and hard drive shredding service. However it’s hard to figure out as so many websites have “get a quote today” or “enquire now” buttons with no pricing to be found quickly on the website. So here are our costings for you:

UShred paper shredding bag (holds approx 16kg): £12.50 (£10.42 + VAT)

Archive box: £9.50 (£7.92 + VAT)

Memory stick: £2 (£1.67 + VAT)

Hard drive: £12.50 (£10.42 + VAT)

Hard drive removal from laptop/computer (if don’t want to do yourself): £6 (£5 + VAT)

Are there any other fee’s? We always are honest and transparent with our fee’s, most customers won’t incur an additional fee but if there are two additional fee’s to bear in mind:

Collection fee: this is a small fee applicable for some collections, this is based on postcode. (If you want to drop off, then there is no collection fee at all).

Sorting and disposal fee: this is only applied if there is a lot of non-paper based items within the paper. You can leave staples and small paperclips within your paperwork but other items such as plastic wallets, treasury tags, binders, lever arch folders and other plastic/metal and non-paperbased items all need to be removed. If there are a lot of these items in the shredding, that is when the fee is charged.
