At UShred it is important to us that we recycle all of our shredded paper. If we did not, it would mean that tonnes of shredded paper would end up in landfill every year which would not be good for the environment.
Our Wirral paper shredding service works with a local recycling company based in North Wales (this is local to us to reduce the carbon footprint of the shredded paper).
It is important that our confidential shredding service is sustainable as well as being secure! This is why we shred all paperwork to a small secure cut size and then bale shredded paper for further security.
To get the shredded paper ready for recycling we palletise the bales of paper. When we have a full lorry load we arrange with our local recycling company who collect the pallets of shredded paperwork as you can see in our photos.
When it is collected, the shredded paper work is then recycled to ensure that it is an environmentally-friendly solution.
